After many years experience overseas, mainly UK and Australia, Adrian Spraggs, came back to New Zealand and first established “Spraggs Bricklayers Ltd” in Auckland 1990, then Adrian relocated to Nelson South Island, New Zealand in 1992. 

Since 1992 Spraggs Bricklayers Ltd has grown into a successful business, employing approximately 15 staff. 

Our main aim is to take the hassle out of using Brick or Concrete Masonry in both commercial and residential construction.

With fixed prices, we supply, order and organise all materials required on and off site. We have access to a wide range of bricks both from New Zealand and Australia.  We have a close association with Firth who are our main supplier of concrete products, bricks, blocks and concrete.

Our association with A1 Concrete Pumping Limited adds more value to our service with them meeting all of our concrete placing needs.

Our clients are a mixture of building companies, who do residential and commercial work We have a good working relationship with these companies, some of which have exceeded beyond 10 years. 

We are members of NZ Registered Master Bricklayers and NZ Registered Structural Masons.  The benefits to you, is that you are ensured that the work being carried out is by an expert and is being done in a safe and professional way.  Other benefits include experience, fully competent in meeting the structural aspects of the work, and knowledge of the latest developments of the NZ Building Code.  At present we are the only Registered Company in Nelson South Island, New Zealand.
